Farm Hack Wisconsin

Hey guys, I would love to have a farm hack event in wisconsin, maybe madison. It could be a one day event where we had professionals from the Biological Systems Engineering department, farmers, engineers, or others to talk about how to weld, how to use different tools, what type of tools can be made, what resources are out there for farm hackers, safety when hacking, etc. Does anyone have thoughts on this? Thanks, Jesse

Tool ideas for Farm Hack Ithaca

At Farm Hack Ithaca, there will be a tool design charrette, where farmers and allies can team up to dream up and begin the process of prototyping new or improved farm tools and systems.

This forum is where you should post your idea, or summarize the problem you hope to solve, so that other farmhackers can be thinking about it ahead of time.

Small motor powers the door (like a window opener on a car)

Bill of Materials: (incomplete) battery charge controller inverter outlet timer cookie sheet for door LED lights

Use LED lights: efficient cold tolerant durable must be cleaned regularly of dust
