New Farm Hack Method Document - Feedback?

Hi! We've been putting some work and thought into the Farm Hack method--a documentation methodology which can be applied to on-farm events, ag conferences, formal education, etc. It's a way of thinking about knowledge sharing that speaks to the Farm Hack philosophy. We'd love to hear what you think, hear about your using it, know what should be changed. This forum topic is a place for those discussions! Check it out.

New Culture Page - Feedback?

http://farmhack.org/wiki/farm-hack-culture

This is a new section to Farm Hack - the Culture page. Intended to make a place for diving into the "why" of Farm Hack: why do we hack? what are our principles and values? what are other relevant conversations?

Check it out - What do you think? Where would you like a Farm Hack Culture conversation to go?

Third-party "tools" posting?

Is there currently a FarmHack provision - or a policy or consensus - concerning posting URLs, images, or imbedded videos of useful tools shown and demonstrated on the internet?

Example of what I mean: Say I come across a good design for a DIY tool, device, or piece of equipment. The original designer/fabricator has shared it via a Youtube vid (or MakeZine article, or some other site/format). And, say, I want to share it with others here. Is it okay for me to do this... and, if so, how should I do it?

Tractor Education

This is admittedly a shameless attempt at promoting something I'm trying to do for profit, and if it's inappropriate, please remove and I'll fully understand. Here's my story…in 25+ years in the farm equipment business it became apparent that there was a growing number of people leaving the city to move to rural areas to begin a new farm lifestyle. I would meet them when they were shopping for small tractors and equipment and it seemed like they all had fairly common questions to try to educate themselves.

The influence of different colors of the ray of the sunlight

The influence of the blue ray of the sunlight and of the blue colour of the sky, in developing animal and vegetable life; in arresting disease, and in restoring health in acute and chronic disorders to human and domestic animals, as illustrated by the experiments of Gen. A.J. Pleasonton, and others, between the years 1861 and 1876. https://archive.org/details/influencebluera00pleagoog
