These machines allow two people to process approximately 2 pounds of grain per minute. They are meant to be easily built with simple tools, and adaptable to many grains, beans, and seed crops, as well as the local needs of a small farm. The power requirements are low enough that children can have fun riding them. They could be used by a small farm for adding grains to a winter CSA, or by a big farm or organization for a harvest festival, or for education. We would like to build another thresher and fan mill to document the plans and put them on farmhack. This is an open source project, and we need to raise some money to complete the prototyping and documentation process. We already have just over $5K in labor and materials in prototyping, despite that the finished cost of each tool will only be about $500. We will need another $5K to polish the prototypes and make the plans and another video. Can you help us? Thank you, lu
