Germination Chamber

My reason for building this was that Last season I started growing my own transplants for the first time and it went horridly, until I made a make shift chamber and it went like hot butter on toast. Previously I had a local greenhouse grow them out for me. Because I was in the middle of the farming season when I needed to build this I took several short cuts to get it done quick and extra cheap, I did a very crude test before doing it this way. 

I have had the darndedest time finding a flat sided aluminum pan of approximate dimensions 12" by 8" by 6". Any sources out there for a similar sized pan. Nothing offered on Amazon, Walmart, Target, Home Depot, etc. that I could find.

this would be awesome to open source. I'm wondering how a top-loading freezer would work for the cabinet, though. It would be awkward to shuffle around flats. Seems like something that loads from the front, either salvaged or constructed, would be preferable. This is definitely on my to-do list. A commercial unit can go for $4k, new. Should be able to beat that!

This design is based on germ chambers I've seen on farms and a recent article in Growing for Market. Any feedback would be welcome.
