WHEN? Wednesday, June 28, tour begins promptly at 6pm
WHERE? 692 Caswell St., East Taunton, MA 02718. GPS will bring you to the barnyard, but it's best to park through the strawberry stand entrance, a couple hundred feet down the street to the west. There will be signs clearly marking the entrance.
WHAT TO BRING? a dish to share at the potluck dinner, and a plate and fork for yourself. a towel for yourself after you jump in the *swimming hole*, and long sleeves to keep the bugs off your shoulders around the *bonfire*!
++ ABOUT THE FARM // WHAT TO EXPECT ++
Spring Rain Farm is a multi-generation family farm, with parents Billy and Mary producing cranberries, pick-your-own strawberries, and hay. Their sonWilliam and his wife Veronica have moved back to the farm and are expanding the operation to include pork, tree fruit, and other perennial crops.
On the tour we'll check out the fruit tree nursery, rhubarb, newly planted asparagus patch, the cranberry bogs, and strawberry patch - which may still be bearing on 6/28 depending on the weather!

+ Young Farmer Nights are open to ANYONE and EVERYONE, all ages and backgrounds and farming experience levels are welcome. children are welcome!
+ each YFN is structured as a tour followed by a potluck and hang time
+ by popular demand, this season we're pushing back start time to 6pm. If you're running late it's still worthwhile to come! we will try to wait for stragglers, but if we have to get moving we'll leave a note of where you can find us on the tour. and if you're REALLY late after getting caught up at the farm or in your life, you can still come partake in socializing and potluck-ing after the tour
+ re: the potluck --- if you're farming all day and are busy and manage to tear yourself away but can't bring a potluck item, you are still welcome! we understand!
